Tranquil Turquoise

Turquoise is a common color to use in coastal design. In this mood board for a bathroom, I use turquoise for the shower wall color. I love the tile in this board because it is not one solid color…it has variations throughout each tile, which adds some movement to the shower wall. Beautiful opal tile used for the shower shelf adds an extra coastal vibe to the shower.

The wallpaper in the mood board add pops of color to the bathroom. I recommend using the wallpaper on the vanity wall so it is an accent to the rest of the bathroom, but does not overtake the space.

Paint on walls always depends on the actual space. For larger bathrooms, consider using a color that is similar to the shower walls to make the space feel cozy. Using white walls would make your space look larger and brighter, which would be best in a smaller bathroom.
